Where to begin?
The last few weeks have been busy for PatrioticMe. It’s been a hectic, but welcome journey, and one that we never expected in our wildest dreams. Just a few weeks ago, we were a fledgling company that printed patriotic t-shirts for little more than friends and family. As of today, we have received almost 6,000 orders. Words cannot describe how wondrous a blessing this is, but what’s even better, is knowing that patriotism is alive and thriving, and PatrioticMe is more than grateful to be its champion.
As some of you may know, PatrioticMe is partnered with the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Tunnel to Towers was initially founded in honor of Stephen Siller, a firefighter who sacrificed his life to save others in the aftermath of the Twin Tower attacks. Today, the foundation partners with companies and organizations across America, raising funds for programs that help and support military and first responder families. The benefits of these programs range from making home alterations for disabled service members to relieving the financial stress of mortgage payments for families who have lost a loved one in the line of duty.
A portion of every patriotic t-shirt sale helps fund those efforts. So, with all the support flooding in, PatrioticMe is proud to announce that we have raised and donated over $1,000 to Tunnel to Towers. We sincerely thank all of our new supporters for helping us reach this milestone. There is perhaps no better way to show your patriotism than giving back to those who have sacrificed their lives and health for the protection of our freedoms.
Lastly, we would like to say: Though it seems a divisive, tumultuous time in the United States, we are all Americans at the end of the day. We all seek prosperity and happiness. We all want our children to live better lives than we lived. The only way to do this is to come together.
